The journey starts in Bangkok, where you will be transferred to your hotel. You will visit the Mae Klong market, located on the railway tracks, and the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Then, you will discover the Bridge over the River Kwai and take a ride on the "Death Train."

Then, head to Sukhothai, the former capital of Siam, to explore its historical ruins, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After that, you will go to Chiang Mai to visit the Doi Suthep temple, offering a magnificent view of the city.

The journey also includes a visit to the Orchid Farm and the Samkampaeng artisan village. Finally, return to Bangkok to explore the Flower Market and the Grand Palace. The trip ends with a transfer to the airport for your departure.

Itinerary

Day 1
Bangkok – (--) | 21 km

Arrival at Bangkok airport. Meet at Exit C, Gate 6. Welcome by our representative and transfer without a guide to your hotel. Room available from 2:00 PM. Check-in, and overnight at the hotel. Meals at your leisure.
Your guide will contact you at your hotel to provide information about the itinerary of your trip.

Day 2
Bangkok – Mae Klong Market and Floating Market – Kanchanburi (Breakfast-Lunch) | 180 km

Breakfast
Meet at 7:30 AM at your hotel's reception and depart in the morning with your guide to reach the Mae Klong market, located right in the middle of a railway track. Using an ingenious system, vendors quickly remove their stalls as the train approaches, which fortunately moves very slowly. Continue to the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Enjoy some free time to wander and take photos. Then, proceed to Kanchanaburi, with a view of the Bridge over the River Kwai. After lunch, transfer to take the Death Train, which winds between cliffs and ravines (20-minute ride). Afterward, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

Day 3
Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya – Phitsanuloke – (Breakfast-Lunch) | 425 km
Breakfast Departure for Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Visit the Victory Temple, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Lunch en route. Stop in Lopburi to visit the San Phra Kan Temple, known for housing many free-roaming monkeys. Continue to Phitsanuloke. Dinner at leisure and overnight.
Day 4
Phitsanuloke – Sukhothai – Chiang Mai – (Breakfast-Lunch) | 370 km
Breakfast Visit the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This city was the first capital of Siam in the 13th century. Visit the Wat Mahatat and Wat Chai Mongkhol temples. Lunch. Continue through the central plains to reach Chiang Mai, the capital of the North. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 5
Chiang Mai – (Breakfast-Lunch) | 207 km
Breakfast Visit the Doi Suthep temple, which stands at 1,031 meters above sea level and overlooks Chiang Mai and its surroundings. You will appreciate the serenity of this site, highly visited by Buddhist pilgrims. Visit the Orchid Farm, home to hundreds of varieties of flowers. After lunch, visit the Samkampaeng Artisan Village in the afternoon.
Day 6
Chiang Mai – Night Train (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) | 60 km
Breakfast In the morning, visit the Lanna Traditional House Museum, which houses old traditional wooden bourgeois houses from the early 20th century, in the Northern Lanna style. After lunch, visit the hot springs, a reminder that the region is located on a tectonic zone. In the late afternoon, transfer to Chiang Mai train station and board the night train with air-conditioned sleeper cabins (second class). Enjoy a packed dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7
Arrival in Bangkok – Flower Market and Grand Palace – (Breakfast-Lunch) | 30 km
Arrival early in the morning in Bangkok Breakfast at a hotel. Visit the Bangkok Flower Market, where large hotels, restaurants, and other businesses purchase their decorative flowers. After lunch, visit the Grand Palace of Bangkok, also known as the Royal Palace, which hosts the kingdom's grandest ceremonies (coronations, funerals, religious celebrations, and ordinations). Transfer to your hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight.
Day 8
Bangkok – (Breakfast) | 21 km
Breakfast, meet at the reception for the group transfer to Suwanaphum Airport. Additional transfer outside the scheduled time: +50 €/person (minimum of 2 people).
