Itinerary

Day 1
Bangkok:

Arrival at Bangkok Airport, welcome, and transfer to your hotel. Rooms are available from 1:00 PM. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2
Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Phitsanulok (Petit déjeuner, déjeuner):

American breakfast
Departure for Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Siam Kingdom. Visit the city, including Wat Srisanphet, founded in the 15th century, which was the most beautiful temple in the city. Lunch in Lopburi. Visit the San Phra Kan Temple, which is famous for housing many free-roaming monkeys. Continue towards Phitsanulok. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 3
Phitsanulok – Sukhothai – Chiang Rai (Breakfast, Lunch):

Visit the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This city was the first capital of Siam in the 13th century. Lunch included. Continue to Chiang Rai via Lampang. Lunch in Lampang. Visit Wat Prakeo Don Tao. Stop for a visit to an ananas plantation, with a tasting. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Chiang Rai.

Day 4
Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (Breakfast, Lunch):

Departure for a visit to the AKHA and YAO tribes, which mainly rely on agriculture and their craftsmanship. Stop at the Golden Triangle, the geographical meeting point of the three borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. This region was once famous for its significant opium trade. Lunch. This will be followed by a boat ride on the Mae Kok River, with a visit to the Karen tribes. Continue to Chiang Mai. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 5
Chiang Mai (Breakfast, Lunch):

In the morning, depart for a visit to the Doi Suthep Temple, located on the city's mountainside. The Thai people highly revere the temple, and it attracts significant pilgrims. Lunch will be followed by an afternoon exploration of the North's artisanal heritage, including workshops for umbrellas, lacquerware, silk, and precious stones. Return to your hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 6
Chiang Mai – Bangkok – Night Train (Breakfast, Lunch):

Departure to the Elephant Rehabilitation Camp in the jungle in the morning. Learn about Asian elephants, their habits, and their behavior through an interactive and friendly experience. You will witness the elephants' bath with their Mahouts, then demonstrate how their food is prepared. Lunch before transferring to the train station for your overnight journey on a 2nd class air-conditioned sleeper train. Dinner at leisure on board. Overnight in the train.

Day 7
Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak – Grand Palace (Breakfast, Lunch):

Departure for Damnoen Saduak, located 100 km from Bangkok. En route, stop to visit the amazing Maeklong Market, located right on an active railway track! Using an ingenious system, the vendors quickly retract their stalls to allow the train, which fortunately moves very slowly, to pass through. Access the floating market by boat and explore the market with your guide. Return to Bangkok for lunch. Visit the famous Grand Palace, a Buddhist structure housing Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). Dinner is at leisure, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8
Bangkok – Airport (Breakfast):

Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
